This moose came through the back yard of Jan's house looking for tasty morsels. She mostly ate tree branches but poked around in the pumpkins as well. She tried to get a pumpkin but it kept slipping out of her mouth. She just settled on the greens and them moved on to more branches. The kids thought it was fabulous to see a moose so close and for so long.
Okay, this is way better than seeing a gnarly little coyote sneaking by. That is amazing. It reminds me of the show Northern Exposure (was that filmed near where you live?).
